Paldean Fates is the Scarlet & Violet shiny set — the spiritual successor to Shining Fates, with a shiny subset running through the numbering.

Sealed Paldean Fates sells as booster bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes, mini tins, and premium collections. Booster bundles are the most common way people open it because the shiny pull rate rewards volume.

Shiny Charizard ex and the shiny Paldean starters are the chase cards. We keep Paldean Fates singles in the binder because it is one of the sets people most often need one card from.
